This Privacy Policy explains how Recevia handles information when you use the app.

Summary

• Recevia is designed to work primarily on your device.
• We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not operate a custom backend that receives your receipt content.
• Your trips, receipt metadata, and receipt images are stored locally on your device.
• If you enable iCloud on your device, Recevia may mirror app data to your personal iCloud storage to keep your data available across your devices.

Information Stored by the App

Recevia may store the following information on your device:

• Trip information, such as trip names and dates
• Receipt information, such as merchant name, total amount, currency, expense date, notes, and category
• Receipt images you capture or import
• OCR-recognized text extracted on-device from receipt images
• Basic app preferences, such as onboarding completion

Camera and Photo Library

Recevia requests access to the camera so you can capture receipt images.

Recevia uses the photo library picker only so you can import receipt images you choose manually.

Receipt images remain stored on your device unless your device later syncs them to your personal iCloud storage.

OCR Processing

Recevia performs optical character recognition (OCR) on-device to help prefill receipt details such as merchant, total amount, date, and category.

OCR results are stored locally as part of the receipt record.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is available on your device, Recevia may mirror app files to your personal iCloud container.

This is used to help keep your app data available across devices signed into the same Apple Account.

If iCloud is unavailable or out of storage, Recevia continues to work locally on your device.

Data Sharing

Recevia does not sell your personal data.

Recevia does not share your receipt content with advertising networks or third-party analytics providers.

Recevia only shares data when you explicitly choose to do so, for example when you export and share a PDF using the iOS share sheet.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it.

You can delete individual receipts or complete trips, including related receipts and stored images.

Children’s Privacy

Recevia is not directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If it changes materially, the updated version will be published through the app’s listed privacy policy URL.
